From Yampa, follow Cty Rd 7 Southwest for 6.5 miles, where it becomes National Forest System Road 900 (NFSR 900). Continue another 9.0 miles on NFSR 900 to the campground.

Attractions & Considerations
This is a small, very popular campground. There are 5 campsites with fire rings. It is an open campground with a small waterfall and a pond.
The campground typically opens for Memorial Day and closes around September 30th dependent on weather and use. The overnight camping fee is $10.00. Sites are available on a 1st come, 1st served basis.
This area accesses some great fishing and hiking, and the campground is close to the Stillwater and Smith Lake trailheads. With 11,000 ft to 12,000 ft mountains as a backdrop, the views are spectacular.
