Directions

From Yampa, follow State HWY 131 10 miles South to State HWY 134. Follow HWY 134 East for 8.5 miles to Cty Rd 16 (Forest HWY 270). Turn left (North) on Cty Rd 16 and follow it for 2.5 miles to the campground.

Stay: 14 day limit

Attractions & Considerations

This popular campground has 11 campsites set among Lodgepole Pine trees. Facilities include drinking water and vault toilets, with fire grates and picnic tables in each campsite.

The campground typically opens for Memorial Day and closes around September 30th, dependent on weather and use. The overnight camping fee is $10.00 per site.Sites are available on a 1st come, 1st served basis.

With nearby access to OHV and mountain bike trails, as well as access to excellent fishing and hunting, this campground is a favorite among a diverse group of users. A short drive will take you to the Sarvis Creek Wilderness.

• SIXTEEN OF THE CAMP SITES ARE ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS. TWENTYFOUR
SITES AND THE GROUP SITE MAY BE RESERVED BY CALLING 1-877-444-6777.
• DOMESTIC CATTLE MAY BE GRAZING IN THE AREA.
