Developed Units: Bucks Campground—Ten sites
Trapline Campground—Thirteen sites
Cutthroat Campground—Fourteen sites
Shepherds Rim Campground—Twenty sites
Horse Thief Campground—Five sites
Cost per Night: $17
Facilities: Tables, Toilets, Firegrates, Trash Disposal, Potable Water Available,
Trailer dump station ($5), horse corrals at Horse Thief only.
Fishing Access: Trappers Lake, Little Trappers Lake, Wall Lake, Frasier Creek
Trail Access: Carhart Trail #1815, Trappers Lake Trail #1816, Stillwater Trail #1814, Wall
Lake Trail #1818, Himes Peak Trail #1877
Elevation: 9,800 Feet
 

Access:
• The Trappers Lake Campgrounds are located 50 miles east of Meeker.
• From Meeker, take State Highway 13 east for 1 mile.
• Where Highway 13 turns north, turn east on Rio Blanco County Road 8 for 39 miles.
• Turn southeast on Trappers Lake Road (FDR 205) for 11 miles to the campgrounds.

• THESE CAMPGROUNDS ARE ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS.
• THE CAMPGROUND BORDERS THE WILDERNESS; PLEASE OBEY ALL WILDERNESS REGULATIONS.
• TRAPPERS LAKE IS IN THE WILDERNESS; NO MECHANIZED BOATS ALLOWED ON THE LAKE.
