Facilities:  Eleven $15 Tables, Toilets, Firegrates, Trash Disposal, Potable Water Available, Barbe que Grills  
Fishing Access:  North Fork of the White River, Big Fish Creek, Big Fish Lake, Boulder Lake, Doris Lake, Robinson Lake, Gwendylin Lake, and McBride Lake  
Trail Access:  Big Fish Trail #1819, Boulder Lake Trail #2262  
Elevation:  9,500 Feet (2,895.6 m)  
 

Access:   
• The Himes Peak Campground is located 46 miles east of Meeker.  
• From Meeker, take State Highway 13 east for 1 mile.  
• Where Highway 13 turns north, turn east on Rio Blanco County Road 8 for 39 miles.  
• Turn south on the Trappers Lake Road (FDR 205) for 6 miles.

• THIS CAMPGROUND IS ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS.  • THE CAMPGROUND BORDERS THE WILDERNESS; PLEASE OBEY ALL WILDERNESS REGULATIONS.  
• DOMESTIC CATTLE MAY BE GRAZING IN THE AREA.
