FlattopsByway.com was developed in 2009 under a state-funded tourism grant.  The towns of Meeker & Yampa along with the Flat Tops Byway Committee, the US Forest Service, and a small team of web developers worked together to provide visitors to the Flat Tops an all-in-one resource for finding outdoor recreation information online.

The site is marketed Nationally to hunters and outdoor enthusiasts both online and in publications such as the Colorado State Hunting Guide.    Currently the site receives over 4,000 unique visitors per month and the numbers continue to grow.  We are currently a leading source of current outdoor recreation information in Northwest Colorado and are proud to feature the most up-to-date and accurate information on the White River & Routt National Forest’s trails systems & campgrounds.
